The Central London Careers Hub is proud to publish its 2025/26 Impact Review, showcasing a year of collaboration, innovation and measurable impact for young people across the region.
Working alongside schools, colleges, employers, local authorities and strategic partners, we have continued to strengthen careers education, expand access to Modern Work Experience and raise awareness of apprenticeship and technical pathways.
Highlights from 2025/26 include:
- Supporting more than 250 education institutions
- Collecting over 12,000 Future Skills Questionnaire responses
- Engaging 66 Charter Employers
- Delivering 557 employer hours through the Employer Charter, exceeding commitments by more than 40%
- Supporting 7,582 learners through Charter activities
- Delivering CPD and professional development opportunities for over 100 educators
Throughout the year, our work has focused on three key priorities:
Improving Careers Education
We supported schools, colleges and specialist settings to strengthen careers leadership, embed careers into wider improvement strategies and deliver high-quality careers programmes that prepare young people for successful transitions.
Modernising and Expanding Work Experience
From the Equalex Employer Charter and Green Careers Showcase to industry visits and Hospitality Connect experiences, we have worked with employers to create meaningful opportunities that help young people develop confidence, skills and career awareness.
Boosting Apprenticeship and Technical Pathways
Through targeted activity, employer partnerships and innovative resources, we have helped learners, educators and parents better understand the full range of progression routes available beyond traditional academic pathways.
As we look ahead to 2026/27, our ambition remains clear: to create a connected careers ecosystem where every young person develops the confidence, capability and opportunities to thrive in learning, work and life.
