Employers & Volunteers
The Careers Hub is a network of more than 200 London schools and 400 professional volunteers.
Our purpose is to connect business with education to provide London students with valuable industry insight, knowledge, and experience.
There are two ways that professionals can offer support to our network of schools:
1. Join the Equalex Employer Charter:
The Equalex Employer Charter is a commitment-driven initiative designed to support organisations of all sectors and sizes to engage with future talent in Central London education institutions. Predicated on the CEC’s Equalex framework, members are supported to access at least one day’s worth of activity in the academic year, and receive access to networking, CPD and staff training.

Enterprise Advisers are individual professional volunteers who support institutions to deliver meaningful careers education. They:
- Take on projects aligned to nationally adopted frameworks
- Support the institution's careers educators with developing strategic careers plans
- Help to ensure students meaningfully access industry, regardless of their background
- Volunteer collaboratively, with other advisers, or individually, with projects aligned to their skills
- Becoming an Enterprise Adviser supports your professional development and positively impacts young people’s futures, with full training provided.
The Central London Careers Hub offers two distinct paths for industry to engage, based on your status as an ‘employer’ or ‘volunteer’. All the Hub’s engagement support is completely government-funded and therefore free of charge to all partners.
