Start in London has been developed in partnership with all four London Careers Hubs and U-Explore to create an accessible, engaging platform aiming to provide vital Labour Market Information (LMI) to students.
The platform comes following significant changes in the economic landscape in recent years and responds to a surge in demand from careers educators for up-to-date, relevant information as students consider their options.

Our Employer Engagement Team will work with you to co-design innovative an innovative careers offering that aligns with your organisation’s values and objectives. This could include:
- Hosting students at your place of work for an insight day
- Running industry-focused career workshops
- Delivering full work experience programmes.

- Is free to use for students, teachers, and parents in London
- Provides local LMI on a borough-by-borough level for all London Boroughs
- Uses real-world labour market information to aid students in their career planning
- Enables students to discover what employers want from their future employees
- Supports students to make more informed education and training choices
- Allows students to build a digital profile to help with writing applications, CVs and preparing for interviews
- Has a suite of free lesson plans for teachers to use the platform in the classroom
