National Careers Week 2022
14 Mar 2022
In March, we delivered a lot of great activities as part of National Careers week. Here’s a snapshot of what we got up to!
We have supported our incredible Enterprise Adviser volunteers to deliver career activities this week. Here's just a taste of what they have been getting up to in their support for schools, colleges, and students...
💜 International Women’s Day careers talk at La Retraite Roman Catholic Girls' School featuring female professionals from across the construction sector who gave students industry insight and career inspiration.
👩🏫 Parliament Hill School hosted volunteers for a week of career talks which energised and enthused students
🙌 Year 12 students at St. Augustine’s High School learnt about the civil service from our Ministry of Defence Enterprise Adviser volunteer.
School staff testimonial:
"I really appreciated Mr Cross’ talk. I was keen to have students knowing more about the range of opportunities within the Civil Service and he certainly put together a very informative presentation indeed. It included the application procedure, different educational routes, entry requirements and examples of job profiles. Only one student knew about this industry when asked by Mr Cross at the start. And at the end, two third of them said that they found it very useful and five said they would certainly look into it as a career route now."

🤝 Westminster College hosted over 10 large employers for a careers fair for all students to discover the world of work
⭐ As well as supporting one school as Enterprise Adviser, Julia Foguel delivered an assembly at another school London Enterprise Academy to share her professional journey to become a lawyer at Sony.
👍 Students from Mulberry School for Girls and Mulberry UTC took part in a media Careers Festival with Rise Up Academy.
